My new full-time job...

Being a model is not easy.
You has to looks pretty even when you is on your favourite furry blankie, because being a model is a full-time job.
Mine Mummy is not a very good photographer though.
My neck was aching long before she finally manages to gets a good shot.
Mine Mummy wants me to asks all mine friends' Mummys and Daddies how you manages to get good shots of us moving?

Our Mom takes a lot of pictures that are not good 'cause we move. We sometimes have to pose forEVER before she gets a good shot!!

My Mommie says she takes about 20-40 shots for every one she uses. Just click, click, click and hope for a good one. We use the "automatic" setting for our DSLR camera, because my Mommie uses one hand for the camera and one hand to wrangle me and hold treats up. I usually will sit still and focus if a treat is held above my head. Harley will only sit still for a split second, and responds best to a toy above his head. That's why he usually looks so wild-eyed in his photos: he's staring at a toy he wants to jump at!

I'm a professional model, so I know how to pose, open the eyes more, different positions. Olivia is hopeless, so the humans have to shoot-and-hope with her.

Lots of light is a good thing. Especially when the light is not behind you, the model.

But we all think this is a beautiful photo.

My mommy specializes in pictures of us taking naps, because that's the only time we sit still long enough to get a good picture.

Lynettea only gets good photos of me when I am still. I don't think she is a very good photographer. Otherwise, why are the photos all blurry when I move.

The Lap Lady says she has all but given up on pictures of us that don't involve natural light. The camera your mom got is the one we used for a long time and its a great camera! For pictures of us she uses "AV" mode and then doesn't have to worry about speed, just apperature. She plays with the wheel thing until the app works out well for the lighting. Oh and yes....hundreds of photos go into a handful. For about 5 posts for a week there are usually at least 100 shots.
