You sit on your Mummy's chest at night and purr when she doesn't sleep. She needs to be made to fuss you and listen to the purring and think of nothing else and soon she'll be fast asleep! We use this technique on our Mummy and she's a chronic pain sufferer and it works like a charm... :)
